The Maliek Community Arts Foundation (MCAF) is calling on artists, creatives, and performers to be part of our 2026 Summer Street Festival!
We are looking for artists to lead workshops, perform, and activate the community through art, dance, music, and storytelling.
This is your chance to bring your voice to the streets and be part of a movement that uplifts culture, creativity, and connection. As part of our mission, we create spaces where art transforms lives and builds community

We believe every child deserves to start the school year with confidence, dignity, and joy. Through this event, we remove barriers and celebrate the power of community care — with the arts at the heart of it all.

This event is more than a giveaway — it's a celebration of excellence, equity, and readiness. With school supplies, dance, fun, and fellowship, we help prepare students for the school year physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Every August, MCAF teams up with Maliek Dance Theater to host this powerful Back to School Giveaway and Black cultural festival — designed to uplift our youth through the power of art, movement, and community support.
